Managing expectations, relationships and interactions in the workplace can be all-consuming – but it doesn’t have to be
You deserve to feel excited about your work, not exhausted from second-guessing your every move.
Human Skill School gets you there – and school starts on Monday 5th January 2026, with just 50 spaces available.
You’ve got the ideas.
You’ve got years of experience.
You want to be the go-to that everyone fights to have on their team – but something’s not quite landing.
You’re rarely asked for your opinion when you know you have something to contribute, forever chasing updates, and feel constantly out of the loop.
You’re left out of projects you could easily lead
Your colleagues seem to be advancing their career much faster
You’re leapfrogged by
co-workers with less experience, but who are chosen for opportunities sooner.
You know what you want to say, but don’t know how to say it
In meetings, brainstorming sessions or just whilst waiting for the kettle to boil in the office, you find it hard to communicate the ideas you know are brilliant.
Imagine feeling seen, heard, and valued in the workplace, instead of being overlooked and constantly second-guessing.
You’re energised by your work, because your input has been asked for, listened to, and implemented.
You find it easy to talk to your team without rehearsing before or instant regret afterwards, whether it’s on Slack or face-to-face.
Your brilliance and competence is recognised, so more opportunities come your way.
That’s the power of

Human Skills training is transforming careers – and lives.
We’ve been building a world around human skills education for 3 years, training thousands of professionals who were tired of winging it through workplace interactions.
Now Human Skill School brings together the research, frameworks, and practical tools that helped them stop feeling exhausted by people and start getting recognised for their work.
Don’t just take it from us…
Join Human Skill School as soon as doors open on 1st December 2025,
for a 5th January 2026 start
Enrolment for Human Skill School is £700 PIF, or XX payment plan
Plus, enrol during the early access period and join a live skill mapping session with Hayley. You’ll get clear on the current level of your human skills and walk away with a set of goals to hit, so you can hit the ground running when school starts.
Psst – many companies offer a Learning & Development or education budget that covers the cost of Human Skill School. If you need your manager’s approval, you can use the email template below to tell your manager you’re interested in joining a programme that will improve the way you work.
If this sounds familiar:
Carrying the emotional weight of every interaction with your colleagues
Feeling drained by meetings and exhausted by small talk
Being technically brilliant, but winging your way through moments that matter
Holding back and doubting your every move, while others get opportunities
Wanting something deeper than surface-level platitudes to help
Then Human Skill School is perfect for you.
Informed by research, designed by a human for humans
Human Skill School isn’t your average corporate training vibes.
Instead of generic advice to “just be yourself”, we’re diving into research-backed frameworks you can actually apply.
We’re swapping stuffy slide decks for live lessons that feel like your favourite YouTube channel.
There’s no time-consuming work to add to a calendar already stretched thin: the live lessons and activities are built into work you’re already doing.
And there’s no personality makeover, either. Come as you are, develop the human skills you need, and leave as you are.
Meet that human, Dr Hayley Dawson
Across my 16-year career across 4 sectors, I went from entry-level employee to senior leader by mastering human skills. Knowing how to interact, communicate, and adapt will help you stand out in every job (and help you actually enjoy your work!) but no-one was teaching these vital skills; so Let’s Talk Human Skills was born.
Since then, I’ve trained over 5,000 employees and students at institutions like ASOS, The King’s Trust, and Manchester Metropolitan University, and reached thousands more online.
Human Skill School is the next step in helping people thrive in their workplace and their career.
-
Human skills are learnable skills that help us interact and work well with ourselves and others. They help us communicate clearly, build relationships, and navigate both personal and professional challenges.
Alongside technical skills and operational skills, they’re the skills you need to advance your career.
-
Each week we have a 2 hour lesson, a 30 minute support call, and implementation time baked into the work you’re already doing. There’s also 3 x 1-hour story sessions throughout the programme.
-
That’s great! Human Skill School meets you where you’re at, so you’ll be able to build on the solid foundation you’ve already got.
-
Here’s what a typical week might look like:
Monday: You’ll join a weekly live lesson with Hayley. She’ll help you improve your knowledge of the human skill, and you’ll create a personal toolkit throughout the session that you’ll use during the week.
Tuesday – Thursday: You’ll move through your usual work week while practising the human skill, with your toolkit in hand. Use the community chat to get support from Hayley and other students to troubleshoot real workplace situations as they happen.
Friday: You’ll visit the community chat again to share your challenges and wins for the week.
You’ll also get to join three live story sessions where we come together as a group to share workplace stories and learnings to reflect and help each other grow.
-
The live sessions and story sessions are at alternate times each week, to cater for different time zones. Plus, all lives are recorded so if you can't make it one day, you won't miss out.
-
As this isn't a programme specifically designed for a particular career stage, all levels of seniority are welcome. If you want to master the human skills that help you stand out as the go-to in your company, Human Skill School is for you.
That’s a good thing, as you’ll learn in Module 4!
Luckily, I have answers:
-
As opposed to technical skills, which have an average life cycle of around 2.5 years, human skills will serve you for a lifetime – which is why you get lifetime access to Human Skill School when you sign up.
We run live lessons for 7 weeks, but if you need longer you can take longer.
We’ll update the programme with each cohort we run, so you’re always welcome to join live sessions in the future and long after you’ve completed.
-
If you’re paying for yourself (i.e. your employer is not funding your place) then there is absolutely a payment plan available. Pay X over X months.
-
Yes! Every student will get a personal CPD-awarded certificate.
-
Human Skill School is based on 16 years of observation, 6 years of documentation, and 3 years of painstaking research – which is to say, it’s backed by science that’s been proven time and time again. We’ve already helped over 5,000 with the same.
-
Every company has slightly different rules, but generally it’s best to get written permission that they’ll fund your place, and then you can forward your email receipt so that they can reimburse you. Alternatively, they might purchase the seat for you. You can get an email template to ask your employers to pay for your seat here.
